International Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan Association

I began my studies in Tai Chi Chuan and Qi Gong with the Eastern Tai Chi & Internal Arts Research Association in 1997. Studied with a number of leading Tai Chi & Qi Gong Masters including Grandmasters Yang Zhen Duo, Master Yang Jun, Chen Xiaowang, Wang Hao Do, Masters George Xu and Michael Tse.

I am a member of the International Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan Association (IYSTCCA), and jointly operate the UK Yang Chengfu Sub Centre on behalf of Therese Teo and the International Association.

I am an instructor member of the Tai Chi Union of Great Britain (TCUGB) and the British Council for Chinese Martial Arts (BCCMA).

I am also a qualified ?Tui Na? (Traditional Chinese Medicine) Massage therapist.

Martin began studying Tai Chi within the Yellow Dragon School of Kung Fu under the instruction of Sifu David Skates in 1990.

In 1992 Martin joined the Eastern Tai Chi and Internal Arts Association (ETCIARA) and began his instruction under J.R. Nelson.

Since then Martin has progressed within the Association, becoming Senior Instructor in 1998,having studied with many Tai Chi and Qiqong Masters;

Master Choi Wei Lun, Master Huang Wei Lun, Professor Wang Yan, Sifu Michael Phillips, Master Xu Guo Ming, Master Christopher Pei, Grand Master Wang Hao Da, Grand Master Yang Zhen Duo, Master Therese Teo Mei Mei and Master Yang Jun.

Martin now takes classes in the Traditional Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan in and around the Suffolk area.

Martin is a member of the Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan Association (IYSTCCA) and of the British Council for Chinese Martial Arts (BCCMA) and is now Chairperson of the Eastern Tai Chi and Internal Arts Research Association (ETCIARA).
