My name is Davi Garritano. I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1988  and have lived there ever since.

Since childhood I have been fond of martial arts, practicing many styles.  I started tai chi chuan at the age of 15, and for some years also practiced other forms of Chinese martial arts styles, mainly under Marcio Lacerda’s (Yang Family Tai Chi Center Director in Rio de Janeiro) tutelage, but also with other masters and seminars.

Since 2008 I regularly attend seminars with Master Yang Jun, in Brazil and abroad, and consistently practice  traditional Yang Family tai chi chuan. Along the years I have also gathered experience with other center directors and instructors of the International Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan Association.

In 2018 I became a disciple of GM Yang Jun in Datong, China.
