Pierre was born and raised in the Northern region of Montreal, Canada.
Pierre began his Tai Chi training in 1988 when Sergio Arione first opened the doors to the Tai Chi Centre in Roxboro, Montreal.
Pierre registered for Tai Chi the very first week Sifu Sergio Arione opened the Centre and has been enjoying Tai Chi ever since. Tai Chi has brought many benefits to Pierre but it was the sense of sharing and understanding that attracted him the most. It was not long after that Pierre had a desire to begin teaching Tai Chi and did so under the guidance of his Sifu.
Pierre’s first seminar was with Master Yang Zhenduo and Master Yang Jun in 1998, in Montreal. Since 1998, Pierre has attended and enjoyed many seminars yearly with Master Yang Jun in Montreal.
In January 2007 Pierre opened the doors to his own school and currently enjoys bringing the many benefits of Tai Chi to his students in Saint-Eustache, an off-island suburb of Montreal, Canada, on the north shore of the Rivière des Mille-Îles.
Pierre achieved the rank of Copper Tiger in November 2009. He continues to enjoy practising and teaching Tai Chi to his students as well as continues to be a part of the Montreal Yang Cheng Fu Tai Chi Chuan Centre. Pierre wants and hopes to be able to continue helping the community for many more years to come.
