Serena Masi approached martial arts in 2007 when she met Nino Tirelli.
With him, she started practicing the Yang Style of Taijiquan, initially as any gymnastics, then with a passion that has grown day by day, appreciating history, culture and benefits.
Thanks to Nino she met Master Claudio Mingarini with whom she began to deepen her studies by attending both the Instructor Academy and various meetings, internships, theoretical and practical courses held at the YCF headquarters in Rome.

She participated in the stages held by G.M. Yang Jun in Italy from 2012 to today and international seminars for instructors since 2013.
He took the exams in 2013 for the 1st level IYFTCCA, in 2015 for the 2nd level and in 2017 for the 3rd level.
